We begin the book-writing journey with an honest, detailed conversation that gets to the heart of your book and sets a plan for moving forward. We will discuss your overall ideas, outline, themes, audience, tone/style, structure, publishing goals, and anything else necessary to begin strong. Stepping back before we spring forward, we will consider: How will this book change the world? How will it impact your readers? How will it bring about the results you are looking for?
Through a series of 1- to 3-hour video conference calls, we will gather the material you want to include in the book. We will record these interviews, and these precious transcripts will form the basis of the manuscript. As we talk, we will keep a constant eye on refining your topics and overall message, coaxing the story from you and guiding you to highlight the most cogent parts of what you have to say.
Using the transcripts, I will craft your book, working closely with you throughout the writing phase to make sure the book unfolds exactly as you want it to and that it accurately channels your personality, voice, and message. When we are done, you will have a polished manuscript, ready for printing, self-publishing, or submission to a traditional publisher.
